About Ceda
African Section
Central Dredging Association (CEDA),
Drapor initiated the creation in Morocco of an African
Section for that big organisation that is itself a part of the
three components of WODA (World Dredging Association) which include
two other similar continental associations :
CEDA (Central Dredging Association) is based in Holland
and covers the European continent
WEDA (Western
Dredging Association) based in the USA and covering the Americas.
EADA (Eastern
Dredging Association) based in Malaysia and covers the whole
Asian continent and the Pacific
These Associations constitute a forum of debate
for operators of the maritime world, they permit the creation
of ties between the different organisms bound to the dredging
activity and related businesses . Through CEDA , Africa will have
an access warrant to a universe for which the allowance was long-time
denied and it will be possible for African members to have an
entrance key on the international market and face strongly globalisation
.
CEDA -AS was born on April 11th 2002 , the general meeting for
that creation has adopted the articles of the section , elected
the board and the chairman. Thanks to the sustainable efforts
of the preparation committee , this section has emerged officially
..The section stands as a representation of the CEDA in Africa.
The official name of the section
is CEDA - AFRICAN SECTION.
The offices of the African Section
are located in Casablanca, Morocco. the Section will cover north
African countries .
The CEDA - AS is declared created

comply with this stipulated in the CEDA articles.
The articles of the new section as
well as its goals take into account the special nature of African
matters. They have integrated supplementary objectives such as
the setting of regional pro active strategy in the dredging industry
but also the promotion of knowledge and its vulgarisation. The
section as for the other WODA's component goals will integrate
the environment matters in its activities.
Since its creation the Moroccan membership
